PDXNet Imaging Data
OVerview
The PDX Development and Trial Centers Research Network (PDXNet) has created a valuable, pan-cancer repository of over 1,000 patient-derived xenograft (PDX) and paired parental tumor images. These images, stained with hematoxylin and eosin (H&E), are a crucial resource for advancing cancer research through digital pathology and computational analysis.
This collection is connected to associated genomic and transcriptomic data, clinical metadata, and pathologic assessments of cell composition, and is fully described in: White BS, Woo XY, Koc S, et al. A Pan-Cancer Patient-Derived Xenograft Histology Image Repository with Genomic and Pathologic Annotations Enables Deep Learning Analysis. Cancer Res. 2024 Jul 2;84(13):2060-2072. doi: 10.1158/0008-5472.CAN-23-1349. PMID: 39082680; PMCID: PMC11217732.
We are actively working to make these data accessible through the Imaging Data Commons. Until the data are available through that resource, please contact us for access to the full dataset via Globus.
